Enterprise's cast and crew Tuesday wrapped production on the episode 'Dead Stop' after seven days of filming.

Much of the episode was shot on new sets representing a self-sufficient alien repair station, according to StarTrek.com. Further scenes were filmed in standard shipboard locations such as the bridge, sickbay, and the inspection pod from 'Broken Bow'.

As previously reported, 'Dead Stop' sees the NX-01 visit an intergalactic repair depot after sustaining severe damage in the episode 'Minefield'. Visual effects will feature prominently in the episode, with the "character" of the station's automated computer system to be added in post-production.

At the helm this time around was Voyager actress Roxann Dawson (B'Elanna Torres), who returned to direct her third Series V instalment after 'The Andorian Incident' and 'Vox Sola'. The actress's other directorial credits include episodes of Voyager and Any Day Now as well as upcoming Angel and Charmed outings.

'Dead Stop' was written by executive story editors Mike Sussman and Phyllis Strong. The writing team, who crossed over to Enterprise after serving on the Voyager staff during its final season, were responsible for the teleplays of episodes such as 'Strange New World' and 'Shadows of P'Jem'.
