When Star Trek: Enterprise's fourth season premieres in the fall, it will have a third executive producer, Manny Coto, who joined the show in its third year.

According to PR Newswire, Enterprise creators and executive producers Rick Berman and Brannon Braga will remain the showrunners alongside Coto. Despite early rumors that Braga might be taking a back seat for the fourth season of Enterprise, Berman recently revealed that this wasn't to be the case (story).

The rumors that Coto would be taking a more active role in Enterprise's fourth season were fueled by comments from Dominic Keating in June to SFX and the BBC about Coto's increased responsibilities (story). Coto joined Enterprise in its third season, penning episodes such as "Similitude" and "Chosen Realm". Coto also created Showtime's Odyssey 5 and penned episodes of The Outer Limits and Tales from the Crypt.

Enterprise's fourth season is now in production, with "Storm Front" set to open the season this fall. On August 6th, Enterprise will move to its new Friday timeslot of 8 pm eastern time (story). No date has been set as of yet for Enterprise's season premiere.
