Hello World!

Well, I was right in two of my 'Who Will Win' predictions from last week - Stockard Channing and John Spencer. I must say, I was rather shocked to see The West Wing pick up the award for Best Drama for the third year in a row - I really expected Six Feet Under to win, indeed it really deserved to win this year.

Also, now that Allison Janney has won three Emmys on her mantlepice, maybe someone else could get one next year? She's always fantastic as CJ, but there are other great actresses out there too, who deserve to be acknowledged.

Alas, despite West Wing's Emmy success, a Channel Nine representative has told The Australian newspaper that the show will not be moved to an earlier timeslot. The representative said that although TWW, SFU, and The Sopranos (all in 10:30pm slots) are "bloody good shows" they have to account for the "greater viewing public."
