Hello World!

The wreck recently uncovered in Queensland that was thought to be a 16th century Portuguese ship (as I mentioned the other day), has now turned out to be from the early 20th century. Looks like those history books won't be rewritten after all.

Trek Two Years Ago

These were some of the major news items on October 11, 2000:

  • Ron Moore Talks 'Roswell'
Trek veteran Ronald D. Moore explained how he came to be invovled with teen alien drama Roswell.

My agents called me. [...] I knew that Jonathan Frakes was working on it, but I had never actually seen the show. So I said, 'Why don't you send me some episodes?' They sent over about a half dozen from the first year. I watched, and I started to really like it. I found it to be endearing and smart.

  • New 'Shattered' Synopsis
Paramount Pictures released official information on the upcoming episode 'Shattered':

A temporal anomaly strikes the U.S.S. Voyager, hitting Chakotay point-blank and splitting different areas of the ship into different time-frames from its history. After the Doctor creates a chronoton serum to counteract the effects of the temporal bolt, Chakotay finds he is the only member of the crew that has free range of the ship. Forging alliances with crewmates from Voyager's past, present and future, Chakotay must find a way to set events back to normal.
