Enterprise received weak ratings for "The Crossing" last night after several weeks of reruns.

"The Crossing" managed only a 4.0 rating/6 share in the overnight ratings, giving it the lowest overnights of 2003 and placing it above only "Vanishing Point" for the season.

"Stigma" earned a mediocre 4.2 rating in February, but the numbers had risen by the end of sweeps, when both "Canamar" and "Future Tense" earned solid overnights, averaging a 4.5/7 rating. Still, the average ratings during sweeps month this year were lower than they were last year.

FOX's That '70s Show paired with the beginning of American Idol easily won the 8 p.m. hour last night, with the latter earning a 9.5 rating/15 share. NBC's Dateline was solidly behind it with ratings very similar to That '70s Show for its entire hour.

Enterprise did well against the WB's Dawson's Creek, now entering its final few weeks after five seasons on the network. Yet the WB still finished ahead of UPN for the night on the comparative strength of Angel, which in the 9 p.m. hour easily outscored The Twilight Zone, the lowest-rated Wednesday night show on any network. Angel's ratings are not as strong as they have been in previous seasons yet the show continues to do well against The Twilight Zone.
