The final viewership figures for this week's 'Carbon Creek' are in, showing the program's audience has remained stable from last week.

According to figures published by Variety, 4.84 million viewers watched the second episode of the show's second season on Wednesday night. This is slightly down from the figure of 4.89 million who tuned in for 'Shockwave, Part Two' last week.

Besides these audience figures, Variety also announced 'Carbon Creek' scored a 2.4 rating in the important 18-49 demographic, as well as a 7% share in this category. Full national household ratings for the episode are not yet available.

These viewing figures are significantly down from those scored by the series during the same period last year. 9.18 million viewers tuned in then for 'Fight or Flight' - nearly half as many as are still tuning in for Enterprise.

There was more bad news for Enterprise lead-out show, The Twilight Zone. While in first week on air, the genre show held on to 94% of the Enterprise audience, this week that figure dropped to 73%. 3.5 million viewers saw the show, compared to 4.59 million who watched the previous week.

Earlier, MediaWeek's Marc Berman already awarded the performace of Twilight Zone's second episode a D- grade. "The prognosis might only get worse for The Twilight Zone once The WB's competing Birds of Prey kicks in," he wrote.

More detailed analysis of Wednesday night's ratings can be found here at MediaWeek or at this page at Variety.
