The 'Star Trek: Nemesis' ensemble is starting to take shape, with a new addition to the cast announced yesterday.

Ron Perlman, a veteran of numerous television series and films, will play the part of the Viceroy, StarTrek.com reported.

The role of Vincent in the series Beauty and the Beast earned Perlman two Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe award. He has been featured in films such as 'Alien Resurrection,' 'Titan A.E.' and 'Enemy At The Gates.'

As the right-hand man of Shinzon, the film's principal villain, the Viceroy reportedly plays a key role in 'Nemesis.' It is rumoured that Deanna Troi will use two-way telepathic communication with the Viceroy to help the Enterprise crew gain a tactical advantage over Shinzon (story).

According to the official site, further guest cast announcements will follow in the new year. The original article can be found here.
