The first photos have become available of the rebuilt Constitution-class ship sets expected to be seen in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode "Through A Mirror, Darkly". In addition, one of the actors who plays an Orion Slave Girl appearing in "Bound" has behind-the-scenes shots on her official web site.

Save Enterprise! has posted pictures from the Paramount lot of the interior of the USS Defiant, last seen in the original series episode "The Tholian Web." According to previous reports, the Defiant will be revealed to have been pulled into the universe of "Mirror, Mirror" in the equivalent era to that of the NX-01.

Some similar sets were built for Deep Space Nine's "Trials and Tribble-ations", in which Captain Sisko, Jadzia Dax and others appeared on the NCC-1701 during Captain Kirk's era. That episode also used digital effects to insert DS9 characters into previously existing scenes with the original series crewmembers.

In another flashback to the original series, a trio of Orion Slave Girls will appear in "Bound", in a storyline that has apparent parallels to "Mudd's Women" as well as "The Menagerie", in which an Orion danced for Captain Pike. Actress and dancer Menina Fortunato, whose home page is here, has provided photos of herself with the other Orion characters and with Trek cast and crew at Photosite.

Thanks to Sci Fi Universe for the link to Fortunato's photos and to Save Enterprise!, which continues its fundraising efforts on behalf of Star Trek: Enterprise, for the Defiant photos.
