Hello World!

I hope I'm not the only person that thinks the sixth figure in the Art Asylum Enterprise finishing line should be Porthos. After all, he does get far more screentime than Mayweather. The AA figures don't come with little accessories like the Playmates (remember the phasers with those plastic red bits sticking out?), but I think Porthos should be accompanied by big block of cheese.

As much as it shames me to admit it, we do own the Enterprise-D bridge playset. It's nominally my brother's, but it was always great fun to play around with. I say was, because it's getting a bit worn out now, especially since we always used to reenact the crash scene from 'Star Trek: Generations.' It was always great fun to have the Lwaxana Troi action figure mysteriously on the Ent-D at the same time, and have her go flying forward into the viewscreen.

Corrections

In yesterday's News Bullets, we said that the Voyager space probes had passed "far beyond the solar system," when they have in fact, only passed "the known planets" and are yet to reach the heliopause.

Happy Birthday!
