Captain Archer will face a sticky diplomatic situation in the upcoming Enterprise episode 'Fallen Hero.'

Sources today revealed the first information on the episode, expected to air towards the end of the season. In this Enterprise installment, Archer and the crew of the NX-01 are sent to retrieve a Vulcan ambassador from the planet Mazar.

When Enterprise arrives at the planet, Archer initiates a dialogue with an uncooperative Mazarite official on the viewscreen. Although the captain wants to go down to the planet and meet the Mazarites in person, the bureaucrat refuses by saying there isn't time.

Archer is clearly in the dark at this stage - he only knows he must pick up the Vulcan ambassador from the planet. Put out by the official's curt attitude, the captain tries to find out more about the situation. The Mazarite bureaucrat cryptically replies that the ambassador has been expelled from the planet for official misconduct. However he refuses to elaborate further, suggesting Archer contact the Vulcan High Command.

As the scene ends, Enterprise prepares to receive the ambassador, while Archer is left to ponder the situation.

The Mazarites were originally rumoured to feature in the episode 'Detained' as a species who had begun to imprison Suliban, despite years of friendship before the two cultures (story). However they have since been reported to have been renamed the Tandarans.

It is not currently know who wrote or directed 'Fallen Hero,' nor when the episode will air. Please note that this information has not been confirmed by Paramount Pictures, and until then should be treated as you would any other rumour.
