'Carbon Creek' - courtesy MediaTrek.com, copyright Paramount PicturesUPN last night released the trailer for next week's Enterprise adventure, entitled 'Carbon Creek'.

In the episode, T'Pol tells Archer and Trip the story of her great-grandmother, T'Mir, whose ship crash-landed in the mining town of Carbon Creek while the Vulcans were spying on the launch of Sputnik.

The 22-second promo is available for download online at MediaTrek. For those of you with slower connections, here's a transcript:

[Text: 'Next Wednesday']
[A group of Vulcans congregate in a forest clearing.]
[T'Mir, T'Pol's great-grandmother, scans the forest with her equipment, accompanied by Mestral.]
[Shot of Earth from space.]
[T'Mir and Mestral crouch behind a rock.]
Mestral: "We'll need to disguise ourselves."
[Mestral finishes dressing himself in 1950s clothing, as T'Mir gets changed behind a sheet.]
[Mestral looks at T'Mir, who is wearing her shirt back to front.]
T'Mir: "What is it?"
[Shot of Mestral as he explains.]
Mestral: "I believe you have that garment on..."
[T'Mir raises her eyebrow at Mestral.]
[Back to Mestral.]
Mestral: "...backwards."
