When the Enterprise at long last arrives home from the Expanse, its crew be treated to much fanfare.

StarTrek.com reported that production on the third episode of Star Trek: Enterprise's fourth season, "Home," wrapped up on August 12th after seven days of filming. The episode, penned by Mike Sussman, who wrote last season's "Twilight", shows the crew of the NX-01 being welcomed home with a ceremony fit for heroes.

But the homecoming is less than festive for some. Trip Tucker's home in Florida was destroyed, so T'Pol offers to take the engineer with her on a trip to Vulcan to visit her mother, T'Les. As reported earlier by TrekToday, the episode will also feature a wedding for T'Pol (story).

Vaughn Armstrong (Admiral Forrest), Gary Graham (Soval), and Jim Fitzpatrick (Commander Williams) all shot scenes for "Home." Also making an apperance is Trek veteran Jack Donner, who played Tal in the Star Trek episode "The Enterprise Incident." In "Home," Donner will portray the Vulcan Priest who officiates at T'Pol's wedding.

Joanna Cassidy (Blade Runner, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?) plays T'Pol's mother in the episode. Koss, T'Pol's fiance first mentioned in "Breaking the Ice", is played by Michael Reilly Burke, who has appeared in episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

T'Pol is not the only one who will encounter an old flame. The captain of the Columbia NX-02, Erika Hernandez, is Captain Archer's former lover. Ada Maris (The Brothers Garcia, Nurses) rounds out the guest cast as Hernandez.

The episode was directed by Allan Kroeker, who typically helms the season premieres and finales of each season. Most recently he was behind the camera for "Storm Front, Part I".

"Home" is scheduled to air on October 22nd.
