William Shatner In Concert, the first installment of new network series Living In TV Land, will give fans a glimpse into the life of the iconic William Shatner (Captain Kirk)...as sung by him as well as lived.

As previously reported, the TV Land network plans a reality series taking a look at the daily lives of television celebrities like Adam West of Batman and Barry Williams of The Brady Bunch. PR Newswire has the official announcement, declaring that on Wednesday, March 22nd, just after the fourth annual TV Land Awards, the network will kick off Living in TV Land with a special 60-minute glimpse into Shatner's life and musical performances.

Shatner will be backed by musical collaborator Ben Folds, with whom he worked on his album Has Been. On the show, he will perform the biographical songs from that album before a live audience. In between the musical numbers, fans will see Shatner at the Emmy Awards, at a Star Trek convention, on the set of Boston Legal and at one of his charity horse shows.

Guest appearances include Leonard Nimoy (Spock), Patrick Stewart (Picard) and Kate Mulgrew (Janeway), as well as Shatner's Boston Legal and Miss Congeniality co-star Candice Bergen, plus musical guests Joe Jackson and Brad Paisley. The show will have an encore presentation on March 29th in the series' regularly scheduled timeslot of 10 p.m. with new installments of Living In TV Land each week thereafter through May 3rd.

More information about additional guest appearances and the Viacom series is at PR Newswire.
