UPN last night released the promo for next week's new Enterprise episode, entitled 'Rogue Planet.'

In the episode, the crew visit an alien planet populated by a hunting species. While there, Captain Archer is haunted by visions of an ethereal woman who is more than she seems.

A digitised version of the 20-second trailer is available online at MediaTrek. For those of you with slower connections, here's a transcript:

IN A WORLD WHERE NIGHT NEVER ENDS

[Enterprise orbits the 'rogue planet.']
[Archer tests out the night-vision technology.]
[The jungle seen through the night-vision lens.]
[T'Pol sits in a tent.]
T'Pol: "They would be foolish to go into the jungle alone."
[Archer nods in agreement.]

A CREATURE THAT CAN TAKE ANY FORM LIES IN WAIT

[Archer moves cautiously through the undergrowth, shining his torch ahead.]
[He happens upon a mysterious woman in a clearing.]
[Startled by the light from Archer's torch, the woman flees.]
[Archer sits by the campfire.]
Archer: "She was real."
[A glowing centipede-like creature slithers up a tree.]
Male Voice (off-screen): "They can look like anything."
[An Eska hunter downs his drink.]
Eska Hunter: "That's how they trick you."

AN ALL-NEW 'ENTERPRISE'

[A hunting party moves through the jungle.]
[Archer turns around from the campfire.]
[The woman stands in the jungle.]
Woman: "Jonathan."
[Archer stares out into the night.]
Archer: "Someone there?"
[A muffled cry.]
