Hello World!

I'm not quite sure how you follow Caillan's hilarious 'Hello World!' from yesterday so I won't even try. Go re-read that and be highly entertained.

I'd like to thank Mr Antony F for his suggestion of a more mature add on pack for the Lisa action figure, and Zun for his request for a special Lisa and Caillan boxed together set; and assure them both that their suggestions have been passed along to the management.

Trek Two Years Ago

Below are some of the more important headlines from TrekToday on Friday August 13th 1999:

  • Nimoy Calls For More Drama In California Schools
Leonard Nimoy (Spock) and John deLancie (q) called for more time to be spent on acting in schools. They suggested that suggested schools could bring drama classes back by acting out school subjects in short plays.

"You don't need sets, costumes, or lighting, you don't need a lot of money," Nimoy, who starred as the pointy-eared Mr. Spock, said Thursday. "You just need interested students and teachers to make drama work in California's schools."

More headlines from that day can be found in our August 1999 archives.
