Travis Mayweather will return to his 'Boomer' roots in the upcoming Enterprise episode 'Horizon'.

StarTrek.com yesterday released the below official synopsis of the episode, currently scheduled to air on April 16:

When Enterprise reverses course to go investigate a planetary phenomenon, Ensign Mayweather takes the opportunity to visit the cargo ship where he was born and raised, the E.C.S. Horizon. But his father, the ship's captain, just recently died, and Travis finds that things at home haven't been the same since.

'Horizon' was written by Enterprise story editor Andre Bormanis, who penned the teleplay of 'The Communicator' earlier in the season. James Contner, who directed 'Carbon Creek' and 'Minefield', helmed the episode.

The official site also posted details of the episode's guest cast:

  • Corey Mendell Parker as Paul
  • Joan Pringle as Rianna
  • Nicole Forester as Nora
  • Philip Anthony Rodriguez as Juan
  • Adam Paul as Crewman Nichols
  • Ken Feinberg as Alien Captain

Corey Mendell Parker, who plays Travis Mayweather's brother, Paul, has appeared in Undressed, NYPD Blue and 'Spider-Man.' Rianna, Mayweather's mother, is portrayed by Joan Pringle, who has a recurring role as Eunice Barnes on UPN's sitcom One on One.

Nicole Forester played a Dabo girl in DS9's 'Distant Voices,' and has also appeared on Beverly Hills 90210 and Will & Grace. Philip Anthony Rodriguez's only credit listed on the Internet Movie Database is a voice-over role in the video game 'Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.'

Adam Paul has guest starred on Buffy The Vampire Slayer and provided voices for 'Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron' and 'Final Fantasy X,' while Ken Feinberg has appeared in Charmed and The District.

Principal photography on 'Horizon' ran from Tuesday, January 28, to Wednesday, February 5. The first three days of filming took place on regular Enterprise sets, including the NX-01's 'sweet spot,' where Travis Mayweather and 'Trip' Tucker sat upside down in 'Broken Bow'. Anthony Montgomery (Travis Mayweather) was the only regular cast member required for the remaining four days, which took place on the sets depicting the interior of the E.C.S. Horizon.
