Hello World!

As you'll undoubtedly have read in Amy's final Site Columns yesterday, this month is starting in a very weird way for TrekToday, as we have to both say goodbye to and welcome some very good people.

Firstly, I have to say I'm of course very sad to see Amy leave TrekToday - it's been great working with her over the past six months, even if at the start it was a bit unusual to see updates appear on TrekToday that I myself hadn't put there. Later on, I appreciated all those updates from Amy even more, especially when I myself wasn't around as much as I would have liked to earlier this year. Judging from all the feedback we've received about this, I'm definitely not the only one who highly valued Amy's writings here, and I'm sure I won't be alone in missing her.

At the same time, I'd also like to welcome two new TrekToday editors, who quickly and kindly agreed to help out in running the site - Lisa and Caillan, both very active at the Trek BBS and the slightly scary cult known as the J-Team. They've been posting a lot of stories already over the past few days, and I'm sure they'll both do a very good job. They'll be introducing themselves in the Site Columns over the next few days, but feel free to already welcome them here.
