Connor Trinner in 'Dawn' - courtesy UPN, copyright Paramount Pictures UPN Wednesday night released the trailer for next week's Enterprise outing, entitled 'Dawn'.

In the episode, Trip is alone on a test mission aboard Shuttlepod One when he is fired upon by a territorial alien and forced to land on an alien moon.

The promo is available for download at Mr. Video Productions. For those of you with slower connections, here's a transcript:

Trip: "Mayday. Mayday. I'm losing power."
[Trip's shuttle plummets towards an alien moon]
[Text: SHIPWRECKED]

SHIPWRECKED ON A HOSTILE MOON

[Trip exits his crashed shuttle, and explores the area]
T'pol (to Archer): "The temperature can rise to 170 degrees"
[A shot of the hostile planet, brightly lit by a sun]
[Trip lies with his shirt off, looking worse for wear]
[Text: ENEMIES]

TWO ENEMIES FIGHT TO SURVIVE

[An alien fights Trip, knocking him to the ground]
[The alien strangles Trip, as they continue to fight]
[Trip brandishes a phaser, and tries to communicate with the alien]
Trip: "I need to get back to my ship"
[We see Enterprise]
[Text: RESCUE]

CAN ENTERPRISE MOUNT A RESCUE IN TIME?

[Trip is looking tired and alone on the planet]
[A shot of Archer on the bridge]
Archer: "Last known position?"
[A shot of Mayweather looking concerned]
Reed (off-screen): "I detected weapons fire"
