New information has appeared on the Intel site about the USS Kelvin and crew.

As reported by Intel, details on select crewmember of the USS Kelvin have been revealed and a new alien from a Beta Quadrant planet is aboard the USS Kelvin.

The Intel site has been updated and two of the sites offer new downloads or information. There are four areas on the site that can be accessed by clicking them: Technology, which features advertisements for computers; Recruitment, where fans can sign up to be notified of updates to the site; Starfleet database, which offers downloadable wallpaper and has both trailers; and the USS Kelvin, which offers information on the ship and various crew members.

On the Starfleet database site, there are three wallpapers available for download: the USS Enterprise staging platform and two different views of the USS Kelvin.

The USS Kelvin link leads one to an interactive view of the USS Kelvin. Fans can use up, down, left and right arrows to survey the entire ship from different views. Certain parts of the ship are clickable, including: the hangar, impulse engines, the nacelle, the navigational deflector, phaser turrets and the Bridge. Clicking on the Bridge not only gives a description of the area, but features four crewmembers. The crewmembers are: Captain Richard Robau, born in Cuba; George Kirk of Riverside, Iowa; Helmsman Michael Johnson of Washington; and a new alien, Security Officer Alnschloss K'Bentayr, of the planet Monchezke in the Beta Quadrant.

Intel is also offering a contest, where the prize of a laptop is being offered. The contest can be entered by clicking here.
