Several Star Trek alumni including Kate Mulgrew (Captain Kathryn Janeway) will voice characters in Lords of Everquest, Sony's upcoming real-time strategy game.

Totally Kate! reports that Mulgrew would join Ron Perlman (Viceroy, Star Trek: Nemesis) and Voyager guest stars Dwight Schultz (Barclay) and John Rhys-Davies (Da Vinci).

Lords of EverQuest is based on the online game EverQuest. "Control Lords and colossal armies as you battle for total domination of the lands of Antonica," says the official web site, which promises a state-of-the-art custom 3D engine and enhanced multi-player features to allow players to challenge one another through a matchmaking service.

"For the first time, every unit in the game can level up and grow in skills and abilities," states the Lords of EverQuest site, which reveals that magical artifacts will appear to arm players' troops.

To download demos of the game or to preorder Everquest, visit Sony web site. Thanks to Totally Kate!
