Jolene Blalock (T'Pol)'s new thriller is set to follow its European premiere with a one-week engagement playing in Beverly Hills.

StarTrek.com reported that Shadow Puppets, the story of the victims of an experiment that robbed them of their memories, will be screened from June 22nd-28th at the Fine Arts Theater on Wilshire Boulevard in full surround sound. Tickets can be purchased through the film's MySpace page.

Shadow Puppets, which closed the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival in April, also stars Buffy the Vampire Slayer's James Marsters and multiple Star Trek guest star Tony Todd (Kurn).

Fangoria has photos from the film, but be warned: some of them depict explicit violence. In an article with the photos, director Michael Winnick credited genre fans with the film's theatrical release despite its low budget. "Because of all the fan support, we just knew we had to get it playing somewhere for at least a week," he said, explaining that Marsters' supporters had been promoting the movie.

The film may open in other venues before a scheduled July 24th DVD release from Anchor Bay, which bought the DVD rights at the 2006 American Film Market." Winnick stated that there were other bidders for the movie, but "they really had the best game plan" and will include a director's commentary track with the movie.
