Hello World!

Forgive me if I'm feeling rather sorry for myself today – not only did I, despite the judicious and continuous application of sunscreen this afternoon, manage to get sunburnt while trying to escape the 40C heat at the local water-park, but I have just heard a horrible piece of news. Regular followers of this column (for reasons beyond my comprehension – if I didn't write it, *I* probably wouldn't read it) may remember my pronounced antipathy towards one Steve Irwin, aka the Crocodile Hunter, a man rightly thought by the vast majority of the Australian population to be a complete moron (more descriptive adjectives do spring to mind, including a very accurate description made by a friend of mine, but they probably shouldn't be published here). During my regular flick through of some of the major news sites, I came across an article that shocked me to the core.

They're making an animated series. And worse still:

The may make a movie.

God help us all.

In order to succeed he must take the reigns of both the ship and his personal life, executing a flawless evasive maneuver and a marriage proposal, simultaneously.
