Hello World!

Oh, the immensely destructive effects of nostalgia on productivity. This afternoon I dug up my old Sega Megadrive, together with a copy of 'Sonic The Hedgehog'. I plugged it in, and found myself facing Dr. Robotnik again over the next hour, only noticing I'd been playing for so long when I lost my last life in the Starlight Zone. Now would ordinarily be the point where I start rambling for the next few paragraphs about how they don't make games like they used to anymore, but anyone who's played Sonic before already knows that, and, as was also always the case in the glory days of Sega vs Nintendo rivarly, all the others don't count anyway. It's a good thing I only ever bought one extra game for the console ('QuackShot'), or else I could very well see myself losing the next couple of weeks to the machine again.
