Hello World!

I am very sorry to report that our longtime book reviewer Jacqueline Bundy will be retiring from The Trek Nation due to the need to devote more time to work and family. Jackie took over The Book Padd column in 2002 when I started writing news, and in the past five years she has written dozens of entertaining and enlightening reviews, articles, interviews and essays on Pocket Books and the evolution of Star Trek.

"I don't know how accurate it is, but I once read a survey that said 41% of Star Trek fans read the novels. It has been a real pleasure for me, and a privilege to contribute to the Trek Nation," Jackie said when she wrote to explain that she was no longer able to continue with the column. I know I speak for many readers, authors and TrekBBS members when I say we will all miss her very much. Best of luck, Jackie!

  • 'Observer Effect' Has Fewest Viewers Ever
Final ratings for Enterprise's "Observer Effect" reflected the lowest viewership ever received by a new episode of the series, bringing in only 2.76 million viewers. 3.03 million viewers had watched "Daedalus" the week before.

  • Dark Mirror To Reflect Crew In Terran Empire
The crew of Enterprise gave up on contemplating founding the Federation and joined the Terran Empire in "In a Mirror, Darkly", a storyline which also brings Maxwell Forrest back from the dead.
