  • The new issue of Ultimate DVD, the British DVD magazine from Visual Imaginations Publications features Captain Picard on the cover, and includes several Star Trek features. In the first place there's an interview with Patrick Stewart (Jean-Luc Picard) on his first days as Picard, the transition to films and the future. Then there's a discography of all Region 1 Trek DVDs, and finally a review of the Region 2 'Insurrection' DVD. This review can also be found online.

  • TrekWeb has posted several new scanned photos from scenes that are to be enhanced for the 'Star Trek: The Motion Picture' DVD.

  • In the new edition of Entertainment Weekly, Marc Bernardin awards the 'Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan' DVD a B+ grade, saying that "the colors are so bright that some of the scenes felt brand-new, the sound [...] is punchier than it's ever been on VHS or TV; and if you've never seen this film in wide-screen, this crips anamorphic transfer will reveal untold riches at the fringes."

  • Paramount placed the following ad for the new Star Trek DVDs in several nationwide magazines. Click on the picture for a larger version:
