Over at the Cynics Corner, David E. Sluss has launched a new feature: Point/Counterpoint. As the site says, this new feature "gives you a forum for sounding off and having your arguments shredded personally by The Cynic." Also new is a review of the 'Best Of Star Trek, Volume 2' CD, up at Fandom.com. Reviewer Randall Larson liked it rather a lot:

Like its first Volume, GNP has done a splendid job of accumulating some of the best music from each of the four STAR TREK series, and this new CD is a welcome addition to any music library of STAR TREK music. While the music for the episodes presented are, essentially, stand-alone compositions, the CD nonetheless offers an interesting examination of how STAR TREK music has evolved over the four series, and how the later shows maintained and developed the sense of humanity embodied in the first series while expanding and enlarging the dynamic of the action material.
