Star Trek: Enterprise saw a surge in viewership for this week's episode, "Similitude", bringing in the highest numbers of the season.

According to Mediaweek.com's Programming Insider, this week's Enterprise episode earned a 3.0 total rating/5 share. This means that approximately 3% of American households with television sets were tuned to UPN, while "North Star" was viewed by 5% of households watching television at the time.

These ratings are .4 and one share higher than those for "North Star and "Twilight", the highest since "The Catwalk" last December. In addition, the 4.59 million viewers represents a third season high for audience numbers.

However, "Similitude" still finished last in its time slot, well behind Smallville on the WB, which brought in nearly two million more viewers.

Total ratings for Wednesday night are here.
