Hello World!

The final season of Stargate: SG1 began filming this week. I must confess, I've looked at the spoilers already online and I can't wait to see it.

For once we Brits got to see the final episodes of the previous season before Showtime in the US showed them. And they were great. I was curious to see how they'd handle a certain large event and I wasn't disappointed at all. Not in the episode in which said event occurred, but the way the episode after handled it. The whole process was so in character. I thought it was brilliant. And it was a great episode to boot.

Here's hoping the final season is something special too.

I also wanted to thanks everyone who wrote to me about the low number of female visitors our site gets - according to the poll anyway. One wise individual suggested to me that the girls are far too busy doing the million things we have to that men do not to vote in polls on web sites ;). Of course, the reason could simply be linked to the fact that our polls usually run for around 4 days - this one only got around two. But thanks for letting me know that you are out there. I'd hate to think I was the only one.
