Star Trek: Nemesis arrived on DVD in North America today, featuring deleted scenes, commentary and an extensive gallery of images.

Among the deleted scenes are a tete-a-tete between Picard and Data that foreshadows the ending of the film, a telepathic attack on Deanna Troi and the arrival of a new first officer for the Enterprise-E.

A new review at TrekWeb praised Stuart Baird's directing in another deleted scene, with Shinzon revealing his scheme to the Romulan Senate, but found the visuals in the added material of inferior quality to the rest of the film.

TrekWeb also had unfavourable comments on Baird's commentary on the film, describing it as "energy-sapping".

The widely-praised featurettes include remarks by Patrick Stewart and other cast members, and the additional material includes behind the scenes production footage and special effects demonstrations.

Star Trek: Nemesis can be ordered from Amazon.com , Amazon.ca, Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.de. The DVD will be released in Germany on June 17 and in Britain on August 4.
