'Enterprise': It's A Guy Thing

A US study of the male/female audience breakdown has shown that women watch more primetime TV than men, but Enterprise defies this convention.

Just 39% of Enterprise viewers on UPN are female, according to an article at Variety. This means that on US TV it's the drama with the biggest male dominance in viewing figures. Overall, 56.7% of primetime viewing in the under-50 demographic is by women.

UPN's WWE Smackdown! wrestling is also, unsurprisingly, male dominated where only 36% of viewers are female. But not all UPN shows are malecentric — Tuesday night comedy Abby pulls in a 69% female viewership.

Overall, the WB is the most female friendly network with 60% of its audience in the 18-49 demographic being women.
