  • The German Corona WebBEAT is reporting that on the 26th of June Dino will be releasing the first German Star Trek comic in quite a while, currently entitled 'Star Trek #1: Voyager'. The comic will be available for a price of DM6,90 ($4). The second German comic, a TNG issue, is scheduled to be released on the 9th of August. Though not actually mentioned in the article, presumably these comics will be translations of the comics currently being released by WildStorm.

  • Qie at Voyager's Delights has put up a 4.4MB video file showing part of William Shatner's appearance on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The clip shows Shatner rapping part of the song he performed for the 'Free Enterprise' film. You can find it here.

  • Leonard Nimoy (Spock) has been spotted in commercials for Walt Disney. The black-and-white, 15-second spot features Nimoy grumbling about how "his fans always focus on his ears: the size of the ears, the shape of them... Quite frankly, I would find that tiring!" The closing graphic then aks "Why do we love the Mouse?", as an animated Mickey gives us a smile. Thanks go out to John A.D. Holt for this!
