Hello World!

Note to self: never try to get anywhere anymore after FC Utrecht has just finished a football match. This afternoon I had to catch a train leaving at ten past five. I arrived at the bus stop at 4:35, well on time for the 4:49 bus. Except for the fact it didn't show up. Twenty minutes later another bus did arrive, and the driver explained that, no, of course, the bus hadn't arrived - after all, the entire route is closed down right after a football match, so no buses go during that time. Of course the bus company didn't think to put up a notice anywhere on the bus stop - that would just be helpful to the customers, after all, and who needs satisfied customers anyway? Sigh.
