Previews of UPN's fall schedule announcement this Thursday have brought a wide range of predictions about the fate of Star Trek: Enterprise. Meanwhile, industry insiders have spoken about other likely changes for the network.

While TV Guide guessed that UPN will renew Enterprise but move it to Friday nights, TV Tome has predicted a move to Tuesdays.

The Futon Critic notes that the fate of Enterprise remains up in the air pending an announcement on May 20th, but quotes insiders as saying that UPN is ready to go forward with at least two new dramas: a detective series, Veronica Mars, and the drama Kevin Hill, produced by Mel Gibson.

Co-produced by Joel Silver of The Matrix, Veronica Mars stars Enrico Colantoni and Kristen Bell, who plays a spoiled teenager helping her father in his work as a private investigator.

Kevin Hill, starring Taye Diggs of Chicago and Equilibrium, follows a single lawyer who abruptly ends up with custody of his brother's baby girl and goes to work for a law firm run by women, including an ex-lover.

More details are available at The Futon Critic.

UPN will unveil its full schedule on Thursday in New York.
