  • The official site has announced that the next Q&A session it will be holding is with Voyager co-producer, Byran Fuller. You can submit your questions by clicking here.

  • The hiring of John Logan, best known for his involvement in movies such as 'The Time Machine' and 'Gladiator', to write Star Trek X has been officially announced, while Brent Spiner (Data) has become the second cast member to officially sign on for the film.

  • Also, Star Trek.com has posted a report dealing with the Institute for Creative Technologies recent invention of a new virtual reality system. Described as "version .0001 of the holodeck", the system commissioned by the U.S. Army as a training program. In an odd twist of fate, One of the principal designers of the interactive system is Herman Zimmerman, who helped create the holodeck concept for Star Trek: The Next Generation.   • Some bad news for UK fans – Black Star is reporting that the release of 'Free Enterprise', which stars William Shatner (Kirk), on both VHS and DVD has been delayed until December 12, while the Seven of Nine Box Set II (comprising of the episodes 'Scorpion Part I & II', 'Scientfic Method', 'Dark Frontier', 'Think Tank', 'Survival Instinct' and 'The Voyager Conspiracy') has also been delayed to the 4th of the same month.

  • Brian Fuller, Co-Producer of Star Trek: Voyager, has donated a number of items (including, but not limited to, a crew jacket from Star Trek: Voyager, a Data Pad, signed by the entire cast, a phaser and a tour of the set for 4 people) to be auctioned of at Cracked Xmas 3. The charity comedy and variety show will take place on Sunday, December 3rd at the Wilshire-Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles, 4401 W. 8th Street at 3pm. Hosted by Gillian Anderson of the X-Files, the event will such notables as Drew Carey, Kathy Najimy, Gina Gershon, Olivia Newton-John, Ellen Degeneres, Scott Kennedy make appearances, plus several more.
