J. G. Hertzler, best known to Trek fans as Martok from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine is shooting an episode of Star Trek: Enterprise this week in which he plays a Klingon captain.

Gisele LaRoche from the DS9 Make a Movie campaign announced at the TrekBBS that Hertzler is indeed slated to appear in an episode of Enterprise, likely early in the show's fourth season. "I wrote to Mr. Hertzler a few days ago to update him on the DS9 movie campaign," she wrote. "He told me he would be a Klingon captain in an upcoming ep of ENT. He said they would be filming it this week."

It is likely that the episode Hertzler will be appearing in is "Borderland", which goes into production this week. "Borderland" is the first of the three episodes that Brent Spiner (Data) will be playing Dr. Arik Soong in. The arc deals with Soong's attempts to track down twenty genetically-engineered soldiers from the Eugenics Wars.

This will be Hertzler's second appearance in Enterprise. His first was "Judgment", in which he played a Klingon lawyer assigned to defend Captain Archer after he was captured by the Klingons and charged with acts of aggression against them.
