  • David Henderson at Psi Phi has updated the Star Trek Books Database with an excerpt from 'If I Lose Thee...', the Grand Prize winner in the 'Strange New Worlds III' writing contest. In addition, he's put up the full table of contents for the upcoming short story collection 'Enterprise Logs'.

  • Over at the Decipher web site, they've put up a Star Trek Customisable Card Game deck, which was used by Michael Kastem to win the Detroit, Michigan Grand Slam event. Competition was quite heavy at the Grand Slam, as Kastem had to defeat former Star Trek CCG World Champion David Bowling to win first prize.

  • The May 2000 issue of the Star Trek Magazine (its first-anniversary issue) includes an interview with Jonathan Frakes (William T. Riker), in which he talks about his work on 'First Contact' and 'Insurrection' and his hopes for the next Trek movie. The magazine also contains interviews with William Campbell (Trelane, Koloth) and 'First Contact' costume designer Deborah Everton. More info on the new issue can be found here. Thanks go out to Gustavo Leao for this!

  • The Kate Mulgrew Fan Affiliation, the Kate Mulgrew (Kathryn Janeway) fan club set up to replace the recently closed Kate Mulgrew Appreciation Society, has put up its official web page.
