Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine) is in final negotiations to play another character with unusual abilities - a witch - in a new CBS drama pilot.

Yahoo! reported by way of The Hollywood Reporter that Ryan and Kim Delaney were both lined up to appear in the new pilot Sudbury.

The two acclaimed television actresses would play sisters, both witches.

For the past three years, Ryan has starred on Fox's Boston Public, which was cancelled for next season due to declining ratings.

In other fall television news, UPN continues to add potential shows to its lineup. The latest include I'm Still Alive, a new reality series using live footage and CGI animation re-creations to depict the true stories of people who've survived potentially deadly situations.

And Michael Michele and Taye Diggs will star in a new UPN drama pilot, Kevin Hill, which focuses on a young star attorney (Diggs) who gives up his playboy lifestyle to raise the newborn of a relative and joins a small firm run by Michele's character.

The original Yahoo! item, which also contains casting news for UPN and other networks, is here.
