Enterprise has finally made its debut in Germany, and has brought strong ratings to the network on which it airs.

Sat.1. received a total of 3.21m viewers, according to German website Star Trek Voyager Center for the series premiere. This equates to a 10% audience share. In the key 14-49 demographic, it was seen by 2.39m viewers which and achieved a strong 19.1% share.

Series V achieved this strong debut, the highest ratings Star Trek has received in Germany since the premiere of Voyager, in the face of tough competition. German versions of Who Wants To Be A Millionare? and Pop Idol (aka American Idol) were on in the same time slot.

Meanwhile, with Voyager having just come to an end in Sweden, Enterprise is also arriving there too. It will make its debut on 6 May and two episodes will be broadcast each week on Wednesdays and Fridays.
