Final audience figures for "The Aenar", last week's conclusion to the Romulan arc on Star Trek: Enterprise, indicate that it was the most-watched episode so far of 2005.

Cyrus posted on the final ratings at the TrekBBS, noting that 3.17 million viewers had watched Enterprise last Friday night. Compared with UPN's well-reviewed dramas Veronica Mars, which brought in 2.97 million, and Kevin Hill, which had only 1.97 million viewers, these are good numbers for the network.

The audience totals make "The Aenar" the most-watched episode of 2005 and one of the highest-rated of the fourth season, thus far dominated by two Brent Spiner episodes, "Cold Station 12" and "The Augments" which both had 3.39 million viewers. "The Aenar" is the highest-rated episode since last fall's "Kir'Shara."

As previously reported, "The Aenar" earned a 1.8 rating/3 share in the fast national ratings. These numbers were the same as those for "United" the previous week, but "United" had only 2.81 million total viewers.

Cyrus' original post is at The Trek BBS.
