Trek Nielsens Update

The Star Trek Neilsen Rating Database has undergone a rather large update in order to bring everything up readiness for the first new Voyager episode of the year. Posted today were the overnight ratings reports for the last three repeats, 'Drive', 'Imperfection' and 'Repression', in addition to the overnights for the first two. Unfortunately, the news from the season's repeat block is not good – both 'Drive' and 'Imperfection' have fallen far below the both of the previous lowest-rating repeats (December's 'Fury' on 2.1/4 and Season 5's 'Unforgettable' on 2.2/4). 'Drive', despite placing 100 over all, managed only a 1.7/3, while 'Imperfection' did only marginally better on 1.9/3, coming in at 86 – UPN's sixth-rates show for the week. However, there is some hope for improvement – last week's episode, 'Repression', continued to claw it's way back up to respectability in the overnight stakes, while tonight will see the new and much-hyped episode 'Shattered' air.

For a more in depth look at the ratings for the past four weeks and the rest of Voyager's run, please drop by the Star Trek Neilsen Rating Database.
