Star Trek: Voyager's Robert Picardo will make a guest appearance on The 4400, the USA series co-created by former Deep Space Nine writer-producer Rene Echevarria, for which former DS9 staffers Ira Steven Behr and Robert Hewitt Wolfe have also served as writers.

Picardo's official web site posted that the actor will appear in the fourth episode of the second season of The 4400, which tells the story of a group of missing people mysteriously returned to Earth and the lives of those close to them.

Season two of the series premieres Sunday, June 5th at 9 p.m. EDT on USA. Picardo's episode will likely air on June 26th. Since Voyager, Picardo has played a character on Stargate SG-1 and has appeared as The Doctor in Star Trek: The Experience - Borg Invasion 4D as well as numerous non-genre roles, including a regular role on The Lyon's Den.

The 4400, which is currently in reruns Saturdays at 10 p.m., will air a marathon of first season episodes on USA on June 5th in the hours before the second season premiere.

More information about the series can be found at USA and The Internet Movie Database. This news is from RobertPicardo.com.
