Enterprise managed to hold steady ratings during its double-header last night, though the Dawson's Creek series finale soared with ratings nearly double those of previous weeks in its final hour.

According to Zap2It, "First Flight" earned a 4.2 rating/6 share at 8 p.m., bringing in very similar numbers to last week's Borg episode, "Regeneration". At 9 p.m., "Bounty" rose to a 4.3/6.

Yet UPN remained in last place as the WB's Dawson's Creek rose to a 6.7/9 in its final hour after earning a 5.9/9 in the 8 p.m. timeslot, good enough for fourth place among the six networks. UPN finished last for the night with an average 4.2 rating/6 share.

FOX's American Idol easily won the night, earning a 13.4/21 for its first half-hour and 15.5/23 in the 9 p.m. timeslot.

Though "Bounty" achieved the highest ratings of sweeps month thus far for Enterprise, its numbers remained below those of "Canamar" during February sweeps which brought in a 4.5/7.

This year's ratings were also down from last May's double episode. "Fallen Hero" scored an overnight rating of 4.9/8, while "Desert Crossing" brought in a 4.4/7.

The full overnight ratings are available at Zap2It. Final ratings will be published next week.
