Human Error Hype Leads To Minor Ratings Hike - Again

There were no real surprises on the ratings front this week. Courtesy of the Star Trek Nielsen Database, both the overnight ratings from the repeat of telemovie 'Flesh and Blood' and the weeklies for much-hyped 'Human Error' are out.

Predictably, Voyager suffered a severe ratings slump with last night's repeat of telemovie 'Flesh and Blood'. Pulling in only 3.3/ 5 overall and a 3.0/4 in the first hour, it was down a whopping 1.8 points and a three-share from last week's 'Human Error'.

However, despite only a marginal gain in the overnight ratings last week, 'Human Error' has managed to partially justify the large marketing campaign by posting a .2 gain, up to 3.4/5 from 'Workforce II', which posted a 3.2/5. This, ironically, is the highest rating Voyager's had this season since the original airing of 'Flesh and Blood', now the fourth episode to post the score.

For a more complete run-down on the ratings for these two episodes, look under the overnight ratings for the 'Flesh and Blood' repeat and the 'Human Error' weekly ratings at the Star Trek Nielsen Database.
