  • According to an article on the official Star Trek site, four Voyager actors filmed short Public Service Announcements last week to honour Martin Luther Jr. King. Roxann Dawson (B'Elanna Torres), Robert Picardo (the Doctor), Tim Russ (Tuvok) and Garrett Wang) all filmed a segment last Wednesday. The PSAs are scheduled throughout next week on UPN, starting today (Martin Luther King Day).

  • David Henderson at Psi Phi has put up a new character profile for the new line of DS9 novels, profiling Deep Space Nine's new Security Chief - Lieutenant Ro Laren.

  • According to the Digital Bits, 'Star Trek: The Next Generation' DVDs are still in the works for late 2001, while the 'Star Trek: The Motion Picture' special edition DVD has been pushed back yet again, to the third quarter of this year. Thanks go out to Daniel Kikin for this!

According to an article forwarded to us by Matthew J. Klaehn at Media Trek, viewers in Central New York may well be without an UPN affiliate starting next Monday. WNYS-TV (Channel 43), which currently carries UPN, will then change to a WB affiliation, and no agreements had yet been made to carry UPN programming anywhere else in the area.
