Hello World!

I'm sure you'll forgive me for today's rather short update, considering it actually was my birthday today :). I spent most of the evening in an African restaurant here in Utrecht (probably the only African restaurant here, actually), eating, believe it or not, crocodile. It actually tasted quite good, somewhere in the middle between fish and meat, reminding me the most of tuna. After that there was of course a little birthday celebration, leaving me the proud owner of, among lots of other things, a framed Andromeda poster, which will soon nicely accompany the charcoal drawing of Picard and Riker I already have. Thanks for all the birthday greetings that already came in - I'm impressed so many of you still remembered it from last year.
