Enterprise's Dominic Keating (Reed) stars in a short film, The Attackmen, with Jeffrey Combs (Shran, Weyoun), that has a script written by The Next Generation writer Shari Goodhartz.

The Attackmen, directed by Topher Straus, is based on lead actor Nick Slatkin's personal experience of being one of the few Jewish students in his all-Catholic private school, according to Reel Dreams. Starship Troopers' Marshall Bell and Fight Club's Michael Shamus Wiles co-star.

In lacrosse, "The Attackmen" refers to the forward players on the offense. The main characters share a passion for lacrosse, though they are from different religious backgrounds.

"Nick came to me with his incredible story, and I immediately wanted to be a part of it," said Straus. "Though we all come from different backgrounds, we still have our own stories about hate and how it has affected us."

Post-production will be completed this spring, when the film will be taken on the festival circuit. More information is at Reel Dreams.
