Casey Biggs, who played villain-turned-hero Damar on Deep Space Nine, will star in Shakespeare In Hollywood at Arena Stage in Washington, DC.

Biggs will portray Oberon, according to Holly from The Official Casey Biggs Fan Club.

Shakespeare In Hollywood tells the story of a starstruck young actress who falls in love with her mysterious, spellbinding leading man. The play combines the magic of the movies with the more traditional enchantment of the Bard's A Midsummer Night's Dream.

A long-time Shakespeare enthusiast as well as a classically trained actor, Biggs has performed What Shakespeare Leaves Behind along with friends and DS9 co-stars Marc Alaimo and Jeffrey Combs at Star Trek conventions around the country.

Shakespeare In Hollywood, written by Ken Ludwig and directed by Kyle Donnelly, will run from September 2nd to October 19th.

More information is available at the Arena Stage web site.
