Las Vegas Hilton Sold

According to an AP article, Park Place Entertainment has announced it will be selling the Las Vegas Hilton hotel-casino to Los Angeles developer Ed Roski, Jr, for a price of $365 million.

Roski, who co-owns the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team and the Los Angeles Kings hockey club, plans to expand the Hilton's hotel and restaurant facilities. What this means for the Star Trek Experience, which is co-owned and operated by the Las Vegas Hilton and Paramount Parks, is not known, though in all likelihood it will simply continue operating as normal.
