  • Totally Games's Larry Holland talked to IGN-PC about the upcoming 'Star Trek: Bridge Commander.' Here's an extract from the interview in which Holland addresses the game's style:

I think we have found an excellent balance between command and control for Bridge Commander. The bridge mode from the captain's chair gives you plenty of choices and feedback during the course of battle whether controlling Felix, your tactical officer, to attack your target or Brex, your engineer, to repair systems or to balance energy.

The full interview can be found here at IGN-PC.

  • A review of 'Star Trek: Armada II' has been posted at Fragland.net. Awarding the game a score of 84%, the site said "you'll have lots of fun with it if you have the patience to follow the tutorials in the beginning cause you will need them to enjoy Star Trek Armada 2 to the fullest. May you boldly go where no one has gone before!" Head over to Fragland to read more.

  • 'Virogen' at TrekPages was also positive about the new real time strategy game. "Despite its problems, Armada II is well worth the money and a lot of fun to play. The many new features, ships, and playable races added to the game give it far more variety than that of the original, however, its somewhat repetitive gameplay may leave you bored at times." The full review is available to read at TrekPages.

  • The official 'Armada II' strategy guide is now available from Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk. Thanks to Armada Universe for this!

Thanks to Blue's News for most of these!
