  • James Doohan (Montgomery Scott) will be honored on August 28th at a dinner and fundraiser at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel, according to The Alzheimer Information Site. Packages run from $150 to $5000 in price, with the profits going to Alzheimer's research.

  • StarTrekUK is taking questions Scott Bakula (Jonathan Archer) until August 20th for an interview taking place later in the month.

  • Eugene Roddenberry, Gene and Majel Roddenberry's son, is asking for fan imput on a book he's working on entitled The Roddenberry Effect. Fans may submit a picture and a photograph for the book; details can be found at Roddenberry.com.

  • DVDAnswers has posted a picture of the Region 1 DVD set for the second season of Star Trek, which is due to be released on November 2nd.

  • TrekWeb has posted a review of The Jean-Luc Picard Collection, which they deem an "affordable sampler."
